Building a Sustainable Life:

Our Homesteading Journey and Helping Others Thrive

Life has meant frequent moves and new beginnings as a military veteran married to an active-duty army soldier. With each relocation, we began our homestead anew, building our farm, creating garden spaces, and developing compost systems to enrich our soil. Our passion for self-sufficiency and sustainable living has remained unwavering despite the challenges.

Homesteading has allowed us to control our nutrition by growing our vegetables, raising our livestock, and preserving our harvest through canning and freezing. From the garden to the table, we ensure our food is as fresh and nutrient-rich as possible. One of my favorite aspects of our lifestyle is baking homemade sourdough bread, which brings comfort to our home and offers a wholesome, gut-friendly alternative to store-bought options.

I am earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a holistic concentration. My studies have deepened my understanding of how food impacts our health, reinforcing the importance of natural, homegrown ingredients. This knowledge has further fueled my desire to help other families interested in starting their homestead journey.

I am excited to offer homesteading life consulting to families who want to embrace self-sufficiency and create a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. Whether you are just starting or looking to expand your current setup, I can offer guidance on everything from garden planning and composting to food preservation and livestock care.

Through homesteading, we have experienced firsthand the empowerment that comes with providing for ourselves and our families. Our journey has taught us resilience, adaptability, and the actual value of nourishing our bodies with wholesome, homegrown foods. If you're ready to take the first step toward your homestead, I'm here to help you navigate the process and build a thriving, sustainable future.
